Add app content
Your apps enable you to showcase your content to your viewers. You can add several types of content to your apps:
- Video-on-demand (VOD): Unscheduled video content
- Trailer: Short video that encourages user engagement on a specific video
- Live: Scheduled video content
All video content for your apps must first be added to your JWP Media Library.
The following sections explain how to add each type of content to your media library.
Add VOD app content
Use the following steps to upload a video:
- Prepare your video.
- From your JWP dashboard Media Library, click Upload.
- Click Select a file.
- Select a video from your computer.
- After the video has been uploaded, click Exit. The Media Library appears.
- Click the name of the uploaded video. The details page for the video appears.

- Enter a Description. The description appears on the video landing screen.

- Click Single tag.
- Enter the tag.
- Click Add.
- (Optional) Enter additional metadata for the video.

Sometimes the poster image (preview file, video thumbnail) may not be the most engaging moment of your video. After you have uploaded your video, you can update the video thumbnail or upload an alternate thumbnail.
