Migrating to Dynamic Strategy Rules requires tasks to be completed by both your operations and developer teams.

Ops Team

Follow these steps to start the migration to Dynamic Strategy Rules:

1. Create placements for your site.
2. Create new strategies that import your existing ad schedules and player setups.
3. Provide the embed scripts for each placement to your developer team.

Developer Team

Follow these steps to deploy the placements:

1. Deploy the placement embed scripts provided by your Ops team.
2. (Optional) Add key-value pairs (custom data) to placements to support relevant custom business logic built into strategies created by your Ops team.

   For example, you can add custom data to dynamically set an ad.

3. After your Ops team has built strategies in the JWP dashboard, replace existing on-page player embed code implementations and their related custom logic, such as event listeners and other custom code.
